The DoorBird I/O Door Controller A1081 offers the possibility to control up to three doors or gates tamper-proof via the network. 

In the vast majority of cases, electrical door openers are connected directly to the door station via two wires for structural reasons. Unauthorized removal of the door station and deliberate short-circuiting of the wires can activate the electric strike and allow unauthorized persons access to the property or building. 

TheDoorBird I/O door controller demonstrably remedies this situation,
because it is mounted in a protected indoor area, e.g. in a control cabinet in the basement, and connected to the DoorBird IP video door station via the network. The connection to the network can be made via network cable (PoE) or via WLAN.
