The SORAA Snap System explained...
UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES
Combine one or more snap bezels with a snap-compatible* SORAA LED**. A snap bezel is simply attached magnetically in front of the lens of the LED. In no time at all, you can change the geometry of the light cone or the light colour, increase the colour contrast or ensure glare-free lighting and much more.
STACKABLE ACCESSORIES
The Snap system also allows the combination of several filters. For example, a beam spreader (beam angle) can be used in combination with a CCT shifter (colour shift to warm tones).
In this case, all filters influencing the colour are positioned directly at the LED, all filters influencing the geometry of the light beam are positioned above it and a possible glare shield is positioned last "on top".
Snaps for the GEOMETRY:
BEAM SPREADER SNAP
Extend the light cone to 17°, 25°, 36° or 60°.
LINEAR SNAP - Oval light cones
For illuminating asymmetrical or elongated objects. For example, for long dining tables, wall paintings and wherever you want to create a band of light..
FLAT TOP SNAP - square light cone.
Provides uniform illumination from the centre to the edge. For illuminating square surfaces. For example for dining tables, murals and wherever you want to illuminate a rectangle.
AIM SNAP - Shift the light cone (instead of tilting the lamp!)
Equipped with two lenses, the Aimable Snap shifts the light cone from 0 degrees to a maximum deflection angle of 20 degrees, while keeping colour and shape even and consistent. Ideal when a luminaire cannot be tilted mechanically or the tilt of the lamp alone is not sufficient.
The deflection angle is adjustable from 0° - 20° by continuously turning the two transparent, coupled filter discs against each other until the desired deflection is achieved.
Snaps for COLOUR:
CCT Snap - Colour Shift / White Point.
The Snap system's CCT Shifter filters can allow for additional colour temperatures, such as very warm yet bright and natural colours down to a white point as low as 2000K. These Snaps offer excellent flexibility and freedom in adapting colour temperatures to any installation - the light source remains the same and does not need to be changed.
Color ENHANCE - the colour contrast booster
Enhance is a unique colour enhancement filter. It is designed to modify the spectrum of the Soraa LED to further enhance the vibrancy of warm colours - including red, orange and pink - and greens. In applications where a beguilingly colour-intensive environment is desired, Enhance makes colours pop even more.
For restaurants and delicatessens, Enhance is not only a colour boss but also a sales booster - everything looks appetising, fresh and delicious.
LOUVER Snap - Glare shield
The Louver Snap is the icing on the cake of professional lighting. It creates a relaxed atmosphere and unobtrusive lighting. When used in downlights or to illuminate dining tables or objects, it ensures that glare is largely eliminated and that islands of light are focused.
The Louver can be combined "on top" with all other Snap louvres.
*Compatible Soraa LED: All SORAA LED with beam angle 4°-10°.
